The Center of Excellence for Transgender Health Medical Advisory Board has written a set of recommendations to help primary care doctors provide better health services to their transgender patients beyond hormone therapy such as "sexual health and fertility, cancer and cardiovascular disease, patient intake and insurance issues, and harm reduction."
